Gift from a Friend...
A friend's visit is always a gift.
A very dear friend, (I call her Christina), paid me a surprise new year's visit.
Just seeing her was gift enough but she also brought an extra present!
It's a darling plant called a Campanula.
It is covered with small white flowers that look like miniature roses or carnations.
I even love the gold tone "pot" that it's in.
She also brought a helium-filled Happy New Year balloon that is still bopping around the kitchen.
What a spirit-lifter a dear friend is----a treasure that fills the heart with gratitude and love.
WHAT DO YOU VALUE MOST IN A FRIEND?
Beautiful gift. A gift from a friend is the most precious.
ReplyDeleteHow thoughtful! It is what friendship is to me!
ReplyDeleteI love having a friend who listens to each and every thing I say and is so supportive. She is full of compassion and writes me notes that I get in the mail all the time even though she lives close by. What a dear friend she is and I'm so grateful for her.
ReplyDeleteOh how nice of her! What I love the most is a friend who keeps in touch. Either by snail mail or email, or lunch out. Enjoy your plant. Kit
ReplyDeleteFriends who are spirit lifters, are a blessing, for sure. You are so fortunate to have one. The flowers are lovely too.

ReplyDeleteI love the Campanula and boy did she know you or what - and your love for flowers - that is one sign of a good friend. Someone who is there for you. Someone you can be truthful with. Someone that won't share your secrets. Caring. Loyal. Faithful. Supportive. ♥sandie

What a thoughtful gift. I had one of these a few years ago, placed it outdoors in summer. Pretty little plant.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and thoughtful gift! Flowers from friends are a double blessing.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say loyalty, honesty, and sincerity.
ReplyDeleteYour white flowers and gold pot are very nice, Susan.
Blessings to you in these January days.
