"Frosted Window Panes...."

Talk about frosted window panes, we have sure had them the past few days.

It's been like living inside a deep freezer!

But gosh, those frosted panes sure are pretty.

When the sun shines through them, they look like pieces of art!

Luckily,  a  "burgundy bear" coat helps me keep tremendously warm and comfy when facing the chilly elements.

I call it "burgundy bear" because its bulkiness makes me feel like a bear and the color is deep burgundy.

Hope you are keeping warm if you live in a chilly clime and comfy even if you don't!

While I wouldn't want to live in a deep freezer year-long, I really do love the chilly temps of winter.

I'm a New England girl and, to me, cold is MUCH more comfortable than hot!

See?  Everybody's different and that's what makes the world go 'round!

WHAT'S ONE WAY YOU STRIVE TO KEEP YOUR HOUSE WARM WHEN THE TEMPS DIP?

  1. You like cold better than heat? Well i would love to move where the temperature is 70 degrees all year round and that is it is mostly sunny sometimes shady. I was also like a house right on the beach with he windows and sliding glass windows open to the beach so i can hear the ocean tide all night. Of course it has to have some windows on the other side to create a cross breeze....and my furniture is white with lots of aqua decorations and lots of shells...I want my bedroom to have a large sliding door - with soft soft sheets - see I am a dreamer and that is what keeps me warm. I can't believe you have all that ice on the window - it is pretty tho - does it ruin the window?

  2. Wow, those are pretty, but I'm happy we don't have that. :) Instead, this has been a very mild winter here in Central Illinois, with very little snowfall. Any little snow we did get, was melted within a day or two. Right now, we are very much enjoying springlike temperatures, with birds returning and signs of spring growth already. I do like having 4 seasons, but winter is my least favorite and I'm very much a summer girl because I'm outside all year long and I prefer to be warm over cold. For this reason, I keep the temps in the house kind of warm during the winter months.

  3. Do not have winter where I live . I love it warm and sunny but not hot. The seventies are my favorite temp and we have that most of the year here.
I do have a heater, a fireplace and an electric blanket if I get too cold...ha.

  5. Susan, I sure wish I had these temperatures in my refrigerator right now, as it is broken and no cold air coming from it. I have someone coming out to look at it today. What lovely pictures of the frosted window panes. I'm starting to be like you, Susan.....as I get older, I do better with the colder weather than the very hot.

Have a blessed Wednesday, dear, and I really do love your sweet posts.
