Thousands of songs have been written about love.
"Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" and "Love Me Tender" are oldies but goodies, but are among my favorites.
"Love Makes the World Go 'Round," right?
Just thinking about what a blessing it is to love and be loved makes one smile.
Right now, as I write this, thousands of snowflakes are swirling down from the light grey sky on top of the tens of thousands that have already fallen these past few days.
Yowsers. We are smack dab in the middle of winter in western Massachusetts, that's for sure!
But there's beef stew cooking in the crock pot, rice (hubby's fave) on the stove, and a chocolate cake baking in the oven.
"Oh the weather outside" truly is frightful but "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow."
"Love is nature's way of giving, a reason to be living..." despite all the snow in the world!
Today, dear blog peeps, wherever you are, I am sending you love!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG WITH THE WORD 'LOVE' IN IT?
Well it doesn't have love in it - but I like YOu Are My Sunshine - I heard it was a sad song - but it has been going round here for three generations!
ReplyDeleteThere are quite a few hymns but I like "Love Lifted Me" . It's a good one for me right now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your love! And your blog! I like how you embrace the weather. Not fight against it. :) Let's see, my favorite song would be If I Loved You. From Carousel, a show I was in a very long time ago. So beautiful! Happy Valentine's Day! Kit
ReplyDeleteLOve to you and your sweet inspirational blog. I like that you let the weather outside envelope you in a hug.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I must stop speed reading. I thought you wrote Hubby's FACE on the stove. I gasped. My friends are also experiencing this white knee deep mischief maker. I told them if I had to live with that,I'd be eating constantly. Soup sounds healthier than what I would eat, though.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I would love to see your Massachusetts right now all covered in snow, what a sight! Your sparkly red hearts are pretty, but what's even more special is your words of love. Well, I guess you heard one of my favorite songs today - it's by Nat King Cole, L-O-V-E. The beef stew, rice, and chocolate cake sounds perfect for a cold snowy wintery evening.
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
