Any sign of the sun in the winter, in these parts, is cause for celebration.
Winters in New England can be quite dark and gloomy for days on ends.
When the sun peaks out, we all rejoice.
A saving grace of the winter months are the sunsets.
They are quite gorgeous on some days.
The other night, I got quite a show from the kitchen window as the sky turned to pink, gold and shades of purple.
Then, the golden sun melted and dropped out of sight.
Another night was upon us.
WHAT THOUGHTS GO THROUGH YOUR MIND AT SUNSET?
Susan - I am being HONEST - that cloud formation and color was the prettiest I think I have ever seen! sandie
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos. I love sunsets and I usually do not see the sunrises.. We have lovely sunsets over the ocean where I live.
ReplyDeleteI love sunsets and the end of another day! Your photos are so pretty, I might use them as inspiration for a watercolor! Hugs!
ReplyDelete"... the golden sun melted and dropped out of sight."
ReplyDeleteThat was beautiful!
Nothing more glorious than a sunrise or sunset. Yours are lovely, indeed.
ReplyDelete. I must be honest and say I don't give sunrise or sunset much thought as we live in a built up area with lots of trees along the streets and it's hard to see them properly.....
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous Susan ....... Barb xxxx
I see a sunset and instantly think of its creator.
ReplyDeleteI'm always in awe of the colors! We had a beautiful one the other night and I watched it until the darkness set in. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos! XOXO
