Amid the Christmas trees, gingerbread houses, stacks of presents, eggnog, entertaining and sparkle of the season, it's easy to lose track of the real reason we are celebrating.
May we see Him in the faces and laughter of little children everywhere and feel His precious peace deep within our hearts.
The days roll by at amazing speed. There is so much still to do. It's hard to find time to just stop and contemplate.
However, if we do, we will be the better for it.
Sit a couple of minutes by just the lights of the Christmas tree or by candlight and think about the birth of the Baby Jesus and how it changed the world.
HOW DO YOU FIND TIME TO JUST 'BE' DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON?

Now that my kids are grown and my hubby is retired, I am able to find lots of time to just reflect and relax. I can sit for hours on my couch looking at my tree and lights and think about how blessed I am. :) Have a lovely week my friend. Kit
Your home is lovely as usual. And it brings me joy to see it. Yes Christmas is all about Jesus. sandie
Susan, I just have to tell you that I used to have that gingerbread ornament until I gave it to Nel one day. : ) Such a lovely post about being still to think about this special day of Jesus' birth. I, too, sit and gaze at the Christmas tree or go off into nature and appreciate all the goodness Jesus brings us. This statue of Mary and Jesus is beautiful.

excellent advice for sure.
Amid the business it is nice to come home and relax by the tree and feel the peace of the season. xo Laura
Yes I love to sit and look at the lights on the Christmas tree and listen to wonderful Christmas music and enjoy the peace and quiet of my home. Also love singing with the choir at church and looking at the beautiful decorations on the altar. I hope you find time to relax and enjoy the season also.
