Accept Life's Changes

(Photo taken at Yankee Candle Company in South Deerfield, MA)

One thing about life that is absolutely certain to take place is change.

We can easily become creatures of habit, doing things the same way at the same time, day after day, month after month, and sometimes, year after year.

It's a mistake, though, because sooner or later things are going to change whether we like it or not.

The best way to adjust to life's changes is anticipate them, then deal with them, and throw in a little humor along the way.

Just as each night ends and morning brings light, life's changes are going to come, that's for sure.

People we love change, circumstances change, our circle of friends often changes, and even our life's dreams.

Today, embrace change, knowing that life is very precious and time that is measured and limited cannot be wasted trying to stop change.

HOW ARE YOU AT DEALING WITH CHANGE?

I've had many changes in my life and I like to think I adjust and find happiness wherever I go.

I think that I have had so many changes in my life - at first it was hard, but then I learned it was harder to buck the changes then to accept the changes - life goes on smoother if you do.

Humor goes a long way to smooth troubled waters of any kind, including change. I love to laugh and I tend to see the funny side of things...sometimes even when it's quite grave.

Recognizing that change comes and accepting it as part of life is key.

Thanks, Susan, for a thought-provoking post. Wishing you a beautiful day.

You either roll with the changes or you don't. Sometimes there isn't a choice. I tend to look for the good i everyone and everything.

Thoughtful post and I have enjoyed reading all of the comments too. Some change is easier than other but it is true that change is constant.

Each day brings something different to life. I find that prayer and meditation with the Lord helps with the changes in life.
