A Gentle Sunday...

Gentle is such a nice word.

It suggests  a peaceful persona.

It mirrors comfort and kindness.

That's what I wish you today----a gentle Sunday.

It's dark gray here in western Massachusetts and the rain outside is a mix of freezing water and ice chips.

Does that prevent a person from having a gentle Sunday?  Nope.

We can keep sunshine in our hearts and thoughts and promote being gentle human beings despite the weather.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU HEAR THE WORD 'GENTLE?'

'Gentle' is one of my favorite words, Susan. And you won't believe this, but I'm sipping my coffee this morning, and the doily my cup is on looks just like this one that is shown here. My grandma made it and I always kept it. Is yours a coaster also - what do you use it for?

love, ~Sheri

ps...the angels around your house are so sweet, and the mirror is very unique.

Gentle as in a lullaby for a baby.

It finally stopped raining here and the sun came out. My gentle Sunday involved sitting outside reading, one of my favorite places to read.

I love "gentle" ♥
How it stands in contrast to "jarring"...
I enjoyed the photos you shared of your cousin's house. (Just didn't take the time to say so!
Hope your week is more gentle than jarring. :)
