In an old stash of Valentine decorations was an unopened package of pink lacy paper hearts.
It contained both dark and light pink colored hearts.
How perfect the hearts looked on the panes of the back door window in the kitchen.
A few pieces of folded over transparent tape stuck them onto the glass panels.
For the windows above the kitchen sink and above a counter, went bright red "foam" hearts with a heart cut out of their centers!
These "heartfelt" decorations seemed perfect for Valentine's Day and cost very, very little money.
I think I paid 50 cents for the entire package of never used hearts!

Oh those hearts do look pretty on your door and windows Susan. You have a knack for decorating that I don't...ha.
That is so pretty!!!
Susan, something so simple looks so elegant. Love those doilies.
A yard sale! I wonder who made them. Maybe someone who had no idea her hearts would bring joy to a stranger...and strangers on the Internet. :)
I would never have thought of something so cool!
Your hearts look so lovely. Puts one in the mood for Valentine's Day. May you have a very nice one! Nancy
love the paper doilies you used for the windows. pretty as a picture.
I adore that look! I've done the same in the past and yes, this year - there are hearts and cupids on the front windows of our home (though not quite as cute looking without panes like that).
It looks like you are really into the spirit of Valentine's Day at your home. The lace hearts on the window are pretty, and I always LOVE red at Valentine's Day. It just speaks to my heart. You can get many interesting things at garage sales.
Have a blessed weekend, Susan.
love, ~Sheri
