Everyone has something they consider one of life's little joys.
One of mine is going to good quality yard sales.
An annual church sale in a town about 40 miles away always lives up to its reputation of being one of the best sales around.
This year was no exception.
It's a joy to share with you some of the found treasures but they will not all be in one post.
There is no need to bore you. ha!
One of the best finds was a black table cover with deep pink roses, turquoise flowers, and green leaves on it.
It has black fringe, too, and reminds me of something worn by a girl in the Polish countryside.
It is now on the front hall table and has a vase with gladiolas on top (among other items.)

What a lovely fringe shawl. It looks quite lovely in your front hall with the vase of gladss.
One of life's little joys is a string of twinkle lights across my desk as the days get shorter and cooler. I set them to turn on in the dark and there they are when I wake up or come into my little study.

I noticed your table cloth in one of your previous posts. It's so charming, Susan. Yes, it does look Polish, doesn't it? One of my own life's little joys is going to the Polish Festival in Sept., but I didn't make it this year. I'll have to wait til next year to get one of their Polish sausages. : ) Can't wait to see your treasures from the church sale.

What a lovely finds Susan. That table cloth is a shawl if you ask me. I saw such ones in Poland indeed and in Macedonia!
Those colors are gorgeous! I know that makes you feel closer to your heritage.
Susan you always find some of the nicest and most unusual things. You have an eye for them and then you make a story to go with them.
Well today I feel very blessed with my family - that is my joy.
One of my greatest joys is home improvement. I’m so grateful when I can do something to beautify where I live. This year I got new carpeting for four bedrooms and a hallway. I’m filled with joy!
