One afternoon this week, I flew into a Goodwill Thrift Shop to look for small picture frames.
The assortment was very slim and picked over.
But in the shop, before my very eyes, was the most beautiful angel.
She was all dressed in pink with white feather wings, fluffy white cuffs, and white furry hemline.
She carried a small basket with a tiny white bird in it.
Pink roses adorned her long, pink dress and lacy bodice.
Oh, she was splendorous.
When her $2.49 price tag flashed before my eyes, she landed in the shopping cart.
She is a heavenly addition to the front hall table, which, right now, also has an exquisite bouquet of pink roses on it.
My daughter gave them to me as I lost a beloved friend this past week. (I hope to do a tribute to her soon.)
Now I know why the little angel came my way.
DO YOU DECORATE WITH ANGELS?

So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. That angel was definitely sent to cheer you. She's a beauty. I used to collect angels and do still have a few. Have a good Thursday!
I am sorry to hear of your friends death - I lost a friend this week too. It is hard. I love the angel and you could use some of her things for your miniature house. I do have some angels!!!!!!!!!!
Very pretty Susan and I know you love pink. How sweet of your daughter to give you pink roses for the death of your beloved friend.
