Getting a Head Start on Easter
There are a couple of sayings that make me chuckle.
One is "An apple doesn't fall far from a tree."
Another is, "The branches are just like the tree."
Most of my life, I've loved thrift store shopping.
Guess what? My daughter loves it, too!
She decorates, especially, for the sake of her little ones.
Her "finds" at a Goodwill thrift store recently were wonderful.
( My grandchildren made the little bunny banner. Aren't the little fluffy tails the cutest ever?)
They are totally adorable Easter decor items.
The kids loved them, she told me.
My decorations are still up in the attic but will come down soon and I'll be sure to share them with you.
So no matter where you live, get a head start on Easter by visiting a thrift shop.
It's a great way to recycle plus is easy on the wallet.
DO YOU LIKE TO DECORATE FOR EASTER?

Susan, those carrot bunches by the mantel clock made me smile. Such a cute idea. I used to have a lot of Easter decorations. Now I just put out my authentic looking chocolate rabbits, but they are
really ceramic. LOL
I do not put out much for Easter as I've cut down on a lot of things. Your daughter's decorations are very cute and I'm sure her children will love them. I did more when my own children were little but now I'm weeding out things each and every day.
sweet decorations and wonderful thrift store finds. easy on the pocketbook and nice on the eye.
aahh, that little banner is cute. How fun that your grandchildren made that. Susan, I have an Easter décor that is very much like the first one you've shown, except it is three bunnies swinging. We really do have the same taste sometimes. Can't wait to see all your Easter goodies. Yes, I love to decorate for Easter! But I don't have all that much. : )
love, ~Sheri
You know when you have small kids you decorate and when they grow up and you give them to thrift stores - then someone starting out picks them up - and life goes on!
