Happy Day....3,000 Posts!

Today is cause to celebrate at Writing Straight from the Heart.

The post you are reading is the 3,000th written since the blog was started in October of 2009!

Can you imagine that? 

A total of 3,000 times, I have sat down in front of the computer to share parts of my collections, dreams, hobbies, hopes, joys,  life, sorrows, and thoughts.

The people, like yourself, in blogland, have been a huge part of why I kept the blog going.

You have been  my encouragement, enthusiasm, and inspiration to write.

Very frequent writing and sharing take discipline and perseverance.

Thanks to each of you, I have developed both.

With all my heart and soul, I thank you for your faithfulness and  kindness in coming back, again and again--- and for your complimenting and commenting, too.

What fun it has been meeting people from all over the United States and in different countries all over the world!

It has been an immense joy to share writing and photography with you.

So here's (hopefully) to the next 3,000 posts.
