Re-purposing

Lace fascinates.

There are so many incredibly beautiful things made in different patterns of lace.

At a church yard sale recently, a magnificent lace curtain panel garnered attention.

It had a $2.00 price tag.

If we only had a window to put it on kept flashing in my head.

Why not use the lace curtain panel as a kitchen tablecloth?

Why not, indeed.

It's soooo pretty.

DO YOU RE-PURPOSE CERTAIN OBJECTS THAT YOU FIND BY  CHANCE?

Very nice find Susan. Looks so pretty. I still have my Mexican table cloths on my dining room and kitchen tables...I love them and they launder so well.

That's a lovely piece of lace. It looks marvelous as a tablecloth.

lace is pretty and in my country (The Netherlands) we use it as curtains. As a tablecloth however, it will go on top of a colored table cloth... try it!

What a great idea to use this as a table cloth. It looks really nice on your table. I love lace too, and it reminds me of our grandmothers long ago. It seems we don't see a lot of it any more, and I'm glad you shared this today, Susan. The white lace looks nice with your dark chairs.
