Pumpkin (Yummy) Pie
While attending a bake sale recently, a pumpkin pie cost $12.95.
"Holy, moly," I thought. "It'd be a lot cheaper to make one."
So that's what I did.
I bought a couple of cans of Libby pumpkin, evaporated milk, some pumpkin pie spice, and some already made pie crusts in the pans.
At home, we had eggs and sugar. Lickety split, the filling came together.
While making it, the pie shells baked in the oven.
After taking out the baked crusts, the filling was poured and I popped the pies back into the oven.
They were yummy pumpkin pies.
Yep, the large can of pumpkin made two pies----all for far less than $12.95.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PIE?
