An Artist's Masterful Touch...

Going on little excursions gives life a bit of pizazz.

Last week, while hosting house guests, we took a few jaunts and had lots of fun.

One of them was to the top of a Mt. Greylock in Western Massachusetts.

The views of the foliage-filled valley below were quite outstanding.

Luckily, I avoided slinking to the floor of the car, despite my absolute terror of heights, because my niece drove the car, instead of me.

There will be a separate post on what it was like at the top of Mt. Greylock.

One of the things I absolutely loved was a container with beautiful, painted images.

Actually, I think it was meant for donations and someone painted the outside in a truly masterful way.

The amzing painted images, done in such precise detail, are shown in this post.

Kudos to the artist are definitely in order.

Very pretty art work. I like all art work except contemporary art. It's not my thing but every thing else is wonderful.

I remember scootching to the floorboard once in Colorado when we went through a mountain pass. The artwork is lovely. I love to take jaunts down the back roads instead of highways.

What a beautiful place. Our leaves are just starting to change here. I can empathize on the fear of heights. xo Laura

Always nice to explore. I especially love art that takes something utilitarian from plain to awesome! That container is beautiful and fits into it's surroundings perfectly.
