Outdoor Autumn Vignettes

Autumn is awesome.

What is not to love about crisp, cool temps; brilliant sunshine; apple picking; bountiful harvests; and fresh caramel apples?

This is truly a magnificent season. It's my absolute favorite over even spring!

Ever since  discovering one can use mirrors to decorate outside, it's been fun setting up little vignettes with them here and there.

This porch lantern, shown below, which has previously been in posts on this blog, remains one of my favorite pieces.

With leaves twirled around it, it's even more pretty.

The scarecrow kids are now a threesome.

A couple of them kept flopping down in the wind so now they stand further back on the front porch and support each other.

Autumn in New England. Gotta love it.

HAVE YOU EVER USED MIRRORS IN OUTDOOR SETTINGS?

Susan, I would never ever even thought about it. That is such a beautiful idea. I bet you will take down before winter?

Hi Sandie... left TWO mirrors out all during the harsh New England winter last year and they were both fine. One other mirrror, however, is coming back in this winter. Thanks so much for your visit.

What pretty autumn vignettes. I like the idea of using mirrors outdoors, so I'm not sure why I've never tried it. :)
