Beauty Is Everywhere

When bad things happen to us, it's hard to look for beauty in one's surroundings.

But it's there.

All one has to do is stop concentrating on the negative circumstances and look for something that fills the heart.

Flowers almost always do that for me.

There are so many gorgeous ones in the world----all different , colors, fragrances, growing conditions and  shapes.

Flowers rarely fail to make me smile.

Right now, as a change from Valentine red roses, there are apricot-colored lilies on the kitchen table.

Placing them next to a bowl with oranges and lemons turned out to be a great idea.

So many people have been visiting our home, lately, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

DO YOU LIKE ORANGE FLOWERS?

I love orange flowers - I remember when my son was born - I received Tiger Lilies. I do have an allergy issue now that I am older.
Very beautiful gift I know you appreciate.

I love any kind of flowers whatever the color. Right now I have a floral bouquet from Trader Joe's and a delivery bouquet of purple roses so I'm very grateful. LOVE Valentine's day. Your flowers are very pretty. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Your orange flowers and oranges on the table are so charming, Susan. There is something about orange that makes me smile. I read one time that orange is the happiest color.....and I believe that is true. So glad you had special visitors lately, Susan.
