Flora and Fauna at Magic Wings

In the last post, Writing Straight from the Heart highlighted a day trip to Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory in western Massachusetts.

Today we are going to show you some of the beautiful flora and fauna, as well as garden decorations, found there.

It is such a lovely place to visit on a freezing winter New England afternoon.

It's warm and tropical inside the conservatory which is quite a contrast to the freezing temps outside.

Hope you enjoy the photos!

HAVE YOU BEEN TO A BUTTERLY CONSERVATORY?

This would be such a lovely place to visit. I love all the garden statues, and that butterfly is beautiful! I see the red spiky flower around here sometimes, but forgot its name. Thanks for sharing your day trip with us, Susan. I hope you saw a few butterflies fluttering about. : )

Your photos are lovely. What a nice visit. In Georgia, we have Callaway Gardens butterfly conservatory. It is a beautiful place but sure does a number on my curly hair! Lol
