Flowers and Gifts

The birthday celebrations have come to a sweet end.

Oh, what fun it was to see a little granddaughter opening her gifts.

What fun it was opening some of my own as well!

My granddaughter was born a day before my birthday so September always brings double celebrations.

It is such an immense blessing to feel cherished, honored, and loved.

Of course, there are gorgeous  flower bouquets that came as gifts from the heart.

Many thanks to everyone for special messages, cards, gifts, songs, and wishes.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BIRTHDAYS?

A happy belated birthday to you and your grand daughter. The flowers are all so gorgeous. Birthdays make me happy. Usually we have just a very small family celebration with a nice meal and cake as well as singing of the happy birthday song. It all makes me happy. I'm sure you enjoyed yours too especially since your share it with your grand daughter.

I'm so happy to hear you had a lovely birthday and also a celebration for your granddaughter too. I try to forget birthdays at my age but it's nice to get together with family and enjoy a meal I don't have to cook.

Happy birthday to you and your grand daughter. A double celebration. I think you needed a bit of extra cheer. What a beautiful share, having birthdays so close together. when my niece was small she was asked what she wanted for her birthday. She said a baby brother. By goodness she got him and on her birthday! I love seeing your photos.
HUGS across the miles. Hoping your week is blessed and beautiful like you. XO XO
