The other night the sky was dark and the cloud-shrouded moon poured misty silver light over everything.
The temps were very, very chilly.
A few leaves fell from a tree and twirled through the cold night air.
The moon looked glorious and spooky.
I fully expected a bear to come out of the woods and growl but none did. (Thank goodness).
Fall is just about kaput in western Massachusetts and winter's signs are definitely with us.
Hope you have a delightful autumn, what is left of it!
WHAT MAKES HALLOWEEN SPOOKY, IN YOUR MIND?

Boy it sure was dark - where were the stars?
Not a fan of Halloween or anything spooky. I think you need to write a book. Your descriptions are fabulous...
You wriote with such flair and by the way you won first place. Hop over to Jen's page.
That's a cool photo, and very mysterious with the tree branches. It's starting to get chilly here too. Sweaters and jeans are getting washed and getting ready to wear. : )

Lovely photos, I have a little rescue dog and many times when I go out with him late at night or early morning, I notice the moon and fog. I always enjoy hearing the wind rustle the leaves.
