The Lingering Autumn Days...

The warmish, golden days of autumn seem to be lingering this year.

The temps are up and, at times, it feels like spring again.

All New Englanders know how quickly this can change so we'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

The tall trees shown in this post can be seen daily.

One has a very curvy trunk and it's impossible to not wonder how it got that way.

WHAT YOU DO YOU WITH YOUR ACCUMULATED AUTUMN LEAVES?

We actually don't have many leaves to rake. Didn't set out any deciduous trees except in the very far back, and they don't need raking. This has been a lovely autumn here!

My gardeners rake my yard every Saturday so there are no leaves for most of the week. I love that I have them. Very grateful for them.

I run over them with my mulching mower and then put them in my gardens. Free plant food. They decompose and by next summer will be gone. They also block out weeds. Kit

Isn't that a strange curvy trunk? Autumn is pretty around your area, Susan. I love that picture with the candlelight in the window. It's so cozy and lovely to see Autumn outside your window. : )

Have a good rest of the week.

That crooked tree reminds me of the song about the crooked house. LOL Our trees are losing their leaves, but today we had a reprieve: 86 degrees and sunny, but I think that is the ned of this warmth. Going to be 50s from here on.

That's curvy tree is indeed an odd one. As for the leaves, sadly none of us can do much of garden work so have to call help for it. Regards Naomi https://divineangelnumbers.com/

The photo from your window with the lace curtain is beautiful. I love the colorful fall leaves. I have been fortunate with my last two homes to have a wooded, natural area in the back where I blow the leaves. At the new home, there is only one tree!
