Find Joy

This happy little snowman sits on the kitchen windowsill above the sink.

He never fails to draw a smile when I look at him.

Wouldn't it be great if we all had that effect on people?

Granted, there hasn't been a whole lot to smile about this year.

The pandemic, and many other factors, have been huge deterrents to happiness.

However, there are little things each day that can bring us joy.

We just have to find them.

It's so important to keep up one's spirit in the midst of disappointment, sadness, and worry.

WHAT IS ONE THING TODAY THAT CAN HELP YOU FIND JOY?

Cute snowman. He makes me smile. As I sit here in my cozy apartment surrounded by my Christmas decorations I am definitely happy. xo Laura

I'm singing in a virtual Christmas concert tonight and being video taped. I've been singing since I was a little girl and it always brings me great joy.

Oh, how I'd love to see that virtual Christmas concert Diane mentions! Today we worshipped via our church's website. Following that, our Sunday School teacher has set up a webinar for our participation! These two options for Sunday morning always bring me joy! We had our Sunday Lunch in the dining room. That is one way to have some normalcy in these scary pandemic days!

What a cute and jolly snowman. I can see why he makes you smile when you pass him.
I wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, Susan, and thank you for your blog friendship all these years. : )
