A Purpose for Everything

An old-fashioned punch bowl, some faux pink roses, gold-toned angels, and a couple of lovebirds can make a very pretty and inexpensive table centerpiece.

There really can be a purpose for anything that is loved in one's home.

Who drinks punch anymore?  Not too many people, that's for sure.

But that didn't put a stop to buying a very beautiful, old-fashioned punch bowl that even has a crystal pedestal.

It has been filled with old pomanders, faux pink roses, a couple of fluffy-tailed birds, and heart-shaped lights.

It is all ready for next month's Valentine's Day!

Guess what?  It didn't cost any money because all of the items were already around the house.

Oh, dear! I am not good at repurposing, sadly. I really love your arrangement in this punch bowl, though.

Oh gosh I have an old punch bowl that I hardly use for pinch anymore. What a good idea to use it as a centerpiece!

Your are always so creative with making things beautiful with the things around your house. This is pretty, Susan, and Yes, it looks perfect for Valentine's Day. I saw Valentine candy at the store already, and it made me smile. I love those heart shaped lights in your punch bowl. Wow, it didn't cost anything. I would have never guessed that. : )

What a lovely arrangement you've made with your punch bowl. And what a splendid idea. I cannot remember the last time I used my punch bowl. It's true, we rarely use them anymore. That little gold angel with the lute, I think it is, is so similar to one I have hanging in my front entrance over the gold-rimmed mirror.

Wishing you a beautiful day, Susan.
