Pink Decor in the Kitchen for Upcoming Valentine's Day

Since Valentine's Day is around the corner, some pink glass and hearts have been added to the blue and yellow kitchen.

Cranberry glass is very reminiscent of the far eastern Cape Cod section of Massachusetts.

It's impossible to walk down the streets in some towns there without seeing cranberry glass.

It's not inexpensive to buy since there is  gold chloride in the pink glass.

My late mother started my large collection many decades ago.

It's my absolute favorite colored glass.

Even though it isn't blue or yellow, like the kitchen, the cranberry glass is perfect for Valentine's Day.

Plus, there is a stained glass piece hanging in one kitchen window.

My beloved late husband and I bought it while on vacation many years ago.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE COLORED GLASS?

I love cranberry glass. My New England friend collected cobalt blue. I like colored glass. Sometimes you can hit it lucky at the Goodwill.

Due to living in earthquake country I do not have any glass collections but yours are gorgeous.

Molten gold? Oh, how wonderful! I do love cranberry glass, though most of my “collecting” is with china. Still can’t part with it, when most people are downsizing at our age! Love the stained glass, too!

Your cranberry glass is gorgeous, Susan. That's so nice of your Mother to have started this collection for you many years ago. The pink stained glass in your kitchen is pretty also. All these pieces are perfect for Valentine's Day. : )

Have a good rest of the week, dear Susan.
