Hippity Hop Village

As kids, we always sang "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" around Easter time.

 "Here comes Peter Cottontail,

Hopping down the bunny trail,

Hippity Hoppity, Easter's on its way...."

Even now, too many decades later to count, the sounds of children singing that song is clear.

So after collecting little ceramic bunny figures depicted in many activities, it was easy to think about forming a place where all of them could be.

The perfect setting was  named Hippity Hop Village.

Grands who live within driving distance took a trip up to the attic with their Grammie and retrieved the vast collection.

They carefully unwrapped the tissue paper around all the figures and put the village together on the front hall table.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN HIPPITY HOP VILLAGE? WHAT A MAGICAL AND COLORFUL PLACE TO LIVE IT WOULD BE, DON'T YOU THINK?

Oh yes, I would love to live in your village, right next to the BAKERY! The grandchildren did a nice job of decorating. I love the tree with the pretty eggs displayed.

I think you would have made a terrific Imagineer at Disneyland.

You have such pretty Easter decorations! I have a tree similar to the one in your picture.

Susan, I have that same sweet bunny swing in the first picture. It's the one thing I have not given away because it reminds me of my three kids. You have quite a bunny collection. They all look so cute on your table, and what a fun project it was for the grandkids to put them all out.

Yes, Easter is soon, and it will be a quiet one this year, as I just traveled 10 hours to my new mountain home. I'm still recovering from that haha.
