Kitchen Angel Gets a New Spoon

A dear friend bought a  Jim Shore figurine that is absolutely perfect.

Jim Shore's creations are always bright, colorful, and filled with whimsy.

Kitchen angel is no exception.

She's got a little halo at the top of her head and wears a very colorful outfit.

Wouldn't you know it she was inadvertently knocked over and her spoon broke completely out of her hand.

It flew across the kitchen floor in tiny, smashed pieces.

Luckily, there was some Sculpey clay in my crafts supplies so I fashioned a new spoon for her.

It even got baked in a toaster over for a few minutes to make it hard.

Perfect!  I'm so happy with the results.

Now, little kitchen angel can do what it says underneath her, namely, she blesses my kitchen!

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH JIM SHORE SCULPTURES?

You did a great job fixing Kitchen Angel, Susan. You can't tell it was broken. Yes, I'm familiar with these items. They are so colorful and delightful. I'm glad she is fixed now, and that was clever of you to think of the clay you had in your craft supplies. : )

What a sweet angel. You are crafty. We have something similar but it is a pig, from when my friend used to send us pig statues.
