Garden of the Gods in Colorado

This summer  brought a trip, all expenses paid, to Colorado.

One of the places visited was a natural phenomena called Garden of the God
s in Colorado Springs.

My shock at the intense beauty of place with its towering red rock formations was palatable.

The rock formations, which one day were, no doubt, at the bottom of water, were shockingly picturesque.

Seeing them was one of the highlights of the trip.

If you ever have the chance to visit Colorado, don't miss Colorado Springs and this incredible natural phenomena.

HAVE YOU EVER VISITED COLORADO?  IF YES, WHAT IS MOST MEMORABLE FROM THAT TRIP?

I've never been there but these photos remind me of Sedona Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Very impressive.

Colorado is my home, born and raised and still living here. We were at The Garden of the Gods in July when our youngest girl was home with her husband. We hiked with them at the Garden of the Gods. Many beautiful memories there and especially when I was young and my dad took on road trips. Colorado Springs is a place of beauty. My mothers cousins lived near the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Broadmoor. I still love driving around there. We live in the metro area of Denver so we are about an hour from Colorado Springs. I have many fond memories there. Thank you for sharing your trip and I am happy you were able to visit. Have a wodnerful weekend. HUGS across the miles ,

I love Garden of the Gods! I lived in Denver for 5 years. My favorite part was going downtown to the zoo and museum. Looks like you had a great trip! Kit
