New England has some absolutely gorgeous vistas.
A ride to a couple of them at sunset the other night was a calming experience.
A lone fisherman, shown above in the photo, was trying to catch a fish or two.
The sky was beautiful, especially the lone cloud near the rim of a hill.
Quiet filled the air and it was delightful.
Such moments make me feel such immense gratitude for the gift of eyesight and the ability to drive.
DO YOU HAVE LAKES WHERE YOU LIVE?

Oh, I would have loved to be with you as you viewed these lakes! Yes, we have more than one lake nearby, and we enjoy the walking trail included with the park at one of them. The system of dams built by TVA for flood control resulted in several lake areas.
Lovely photos that look like watercolor pictures. No lakes here, but we are surrounded by a sea. :)
Yes I have a beautiful lake with gorgeous homes all around it where I live and I am very close to the Pacific Ocean where the sunsets are spectacular.
Yes, I have a beautiful lake I hear not too far away, but I haven't been to it yet. I have been wanting to visit. The lake photo with the man fishing is so pretty, Susan. I'm glad you took a drive to this lake and enjoyed some quiet time.
Have a pleasant week.
