A couple of years ago, my daughter gave me one of the best gifts ever received.
It was a Tiny Tears doll.
The reason she was so special is because my absolutely favorite doll of childhood was Tiny Tears.
I have no idea what happened to my original baby dolly.
She was with me for many years when I was little.
She came every where with me and I adored her.
My godmother and godfather bought her for me for Christmas when I was about six years old.
Well, my daughter found a dead ringer copy of Tiny Tears.
Most recently, I found a tiny knitted hat in the brightest red imaginable.
I bought it for the precious doll baby.
Now all that needs to be done is to find a matching sweater somewhere!
And maybe booties?
DO YOU HAVE ANY MEMORABLE DOLLS OR OTHER TOYS FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD?

Awww...the sweetest surprise from your daughter! It must have gushed so many memories of your childhood days playing with your dolly.
She is a treasure. My mom's senior complex was having a huge indoor flea market. I purchased a very old doll, originally a Sonja Henney doll from one of her neighbor ladies. I finally found a pair of ice skates for her. She sits in a child size antique rocking chair and makes me happy. Freaks our adult kids out, though.
That is the cutest doll, Susan, and that knitted hat looks adorable on her. I always wondered if the Tiny Tears doll really made tears? What a treasure your daughter found for you. The only memorable doll I have from my childhood is my Barbie. And I still have the clothes that my dear Mom made for her. Your doll looks Christmasy in her hat. : )

Oh what a nice find for your tiny tears doll. I remember her so well. It's great that you have another one now to bring back all those memories.
