Continuation of Winter Wonderland...

Guess what the weather service is predicting?

Snow and lots of it!

There was cause for rejoicing when rain melted a lot of the white stuff around here recently.

Now, whatever patches of gold colored dried out grass are showing will soon be submerged, once again, under layers of cold, frigid snow.

Granted, the scenes after a snowfall are lovely but they are getting a little bit old.

I want to see green grass, yellow daffodils, pink and purple hyacinths, red tulips, water trickling from the backyard fountain, and hear birds twittering.

Nope.  Snow.  Gotta love it and be patient.

Spring will get here eventually.

WHAT ASPECT OF SPRING ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO?

I never tire of seeing the snow, Susan. I was born and raised in an area of California that didn't get snow all those years, and now that I get it, I rejoice. I saw on tv that a lot of areas may get a snowstorm coming in. And I hear we may get a little snow on Sunday, but we'll see. Your photos are pretty, and the fourth picture is my favorite. There's just something about the white snow dangling from the bushes and trees. It was warmer this afternoon, so I do think Spring is on its way. And I see more pesky squirrels in the yard haha.

Have a restful weekend, dear Susan.

I look forward to longer days and lovely flowers and sunshine this spring. And hope for world peace.
