Berries and Bunnies

Almost every kind of berry appeals to me.

Blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries all taste delicious.

When two packages of strawberries came on sale at a good price at the supermarket recently, they landed in the shopping cart.

I read that putting berries into lidded jars after washing them would preserve them longer than if left in their plastic containers in the refrigerator.

So the strawberries got washed, dried, and stacked into containers.  Dee-lish!

Berries, not bunnies, are a perfect snack.

Bunnies are still coming out around here, making people smile.

They are in every nook, cranny, and in between.

They are cuddly and cute.

I will give some away this year, too, in an effort to make a tiny advancement toward de-cluttering.

IF YOU CELEBRATE IT, WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL TO EAT ON EASTER?

My favorite meal on any holiday is prime rib of beef and for desert...apple pie. I am not too fond of ham but love turkey on Thanksgiving.

Our neighbor gave us mulberries from his garden yesterday. Don't really do an Easter meal anymore, but potato salad was always my favorite especially when made by my Aunt Betty who put lots of black pepper, or the mother of a good friend who put dill pickles and green pepper in hers. :) Happy April.
