Broken-Winged Angel

The other day, while cleaning out a dining room buffet cabinet, I came across two lovely ceramic angels who have always been loved

Oh no. The wing tip of one of them had broken and was hanging precariously by a thread.

It's discouraging when objects we like, that make us smile, break.

The wing tip was glued and left to dry overnight.

The next morning, I gently touched the wing tip and it fell off again, into the palm of my hand. Drat.

Now I'm faced with the dilemma of whether to keep looking for a good glue that will cement the angel's broken wing or gently wrap up the angel and wing tip and  put it in the charity bin.

Maybe someone in the thrift shop who has patience , will find the pieces, glue them together, and put them on a merchandise shelf for someone else to repair.

Or, maybe place the pretty little angel will end up in the trash.

With that thought in mind,  little angel with the broken wing continues to sit on the kitchen table, waiting for a miracle.

DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS AN ANGEL COLLECTION? NOW, WOULDN'T THAT BE A HEAVENLY COLLECTION TO HAVE? IT COULD SEND YOU SOARING!

Hello dear Susan, thank you for your leaving a comment. It was good to hear from you. I been raising my youngest daughters two sons.. 8 and almost 10. They keep me busy busy.. I’m okay thank be to God. Without Him I have no clue how I would be caring for me. I love angels but have not a stitch of room for nothing sadly. But I have been spring cleaning for quite a while now. But also had been home schooling the biys so didn’t have a lot of time to clean. But summer has been allowing me to. I hope you are well also. Love and hugs..❤️🙏🌺🌿

I would definitely put that angel in the charity bin. It's time for you to part with her.

There is someone out there who will love her. Set her at the curb?
