Photo Opportunities

On these splendid autumn days, it's probably safer to avoid driving behind my car.

It seems to automatically spot something gorgeous and pulls over to the side of the road to photograph it.

That has happened quite a bit lately.

Please enjoy the photos taken on a recent afternoon.

Soon, when the colored leaves lose their luster and start to tumble to the ground, things will start looking stark and grey.

That's not for several more weeks though,  so the intense, showy beauty of autumn in New England remains in its prime.

WHAT EMOTIONS DOES AUTUMN BRING UP FOR YOU?

Your Autumn is really showing some outstanding colors! These photos are gorgeous, Susan. It's a bit slow going with the colors changing here in the mountains. We have been in a drought situation this year, so maybe that's one of the reasons. But I do see the trees changing colors slowly but surely. Picture number 4 with the water is my favorite, it's beautiful.

This year the autumn foliage was outstanding. I'm so grateful I was there to see it from all angles especially on the chair lift ride at Jiminy Peak.
