It's important to take small breaks to do some things for ourselves, which are a welcome reprieve from checking items off the endless "to do" list.
The mini Santa at the top of this post is less than six inches tall but he's totally adorable and always brings a smile to me.

Oh Susan I know you had a whole collection of Santas. I'm glad you kept one. I relax by going to sit in my green chair by the window and soak up the California sunshine.
Read blogs or books, crochet or cross-stitch, watch enjoyable YouTube videos, go for a walk. My to-do list only has cleaning chores so I try to avoid it. :)
Your post made me smile, Susan, as I just made a to-do list to get a few things needed at various stores. But you're right, it's so important to take breaks and do special things just for ourselves during this wonderful Christmas season, and maybe get a treat or two along the way. Your Santa is really cute.
