A Glorious Angel

This past weekend, I helped one of my sisters take down her Christmas decorations.

She had great boxes and plastic tubs to put everything away.

The angel on her tree top was surely one of the most gorgeous I've ever seen.

Angel's huge wings gave her an elegant look.

 She was so absolutely stunning.

A tag told her place of origin--- "made in the Philippines"

The tree, also beautiful, came down in three big pieces and fit into a gigantic tree bag.

There were lots of huge red bows to pack, too, and all of them were made by hand by another talented sister.

Ahhhhh, putting things up for Christmas is so joyful but taking things down is on the sad, bittersweet side.

Anyway, it will be a joy to see the glorious angel next Christmas!

What a pretty angel, Susan. I like her long golden wings. I know what you mean, when Christmas is over, I still miss it. I've been listening to Christmas songs on the radio in my car when I take drives to places. So nice of you to help your sister out with storing the Christmas decorations until next year. And those handmade red bows are wonderful.
