Little Paintings Have Big Impact

Small paintings and hand-painted crosses from other countries are always intriguing.

Especially loved around here are those from Central and South America.

My daughter must feel the same way since she has several hanging on a downstairs room wall.

They look really pretty.

This one below was actually painted by my daughter, several years ago.

The one below came from Haiti.

Anytime you have an opportunity to buy a small painting, do it.

It will be a decision you won't regret.

Check out Goodwill and Salvation Army Thrift Shops for them, as well.

WHAT KINDS OF PAINTINGS DO  YOU LIKE? LANDSCAPES? PORTRAITS? WHAT?

I really like that first painting, there's something about it. The red leaves are so pretty. Your daughter's painting with the ducks is sweet. She does have a talent. Yes, I like different Crosses as well. I have a Cross with all beads. I will show it to you through e-mail. Yes, I've been looking around for framed pictures in maybe Purple colors for Easter. You always come across the best stuff when you browse through Goodwill and Thrift Shops, and I love when you share your goodies with us. Have a good week, Susan.

One of our daughters majored in art in college. I like to have her work hanging on our walls. I also like paintings by Pat Buckley Moss.

Landscapes are my favorite type of paintings. I love all the ones your daughter painted and have on her walls. Very colorful.
