People in western Massachusetts are living inside a deep freezer these winter days.
It is c-c-c-c-c-old.
Tonight, with winds, the weather person predicts temps of MINUS 40 degrees. Now that is chilly.
Luckily, we have nice heat and cars that, so far anyway, are working!
We shared some of the most absolutely delicious, cheesy artichoke-spinach dip with triangle-shaped chips.
It was hot out of the restaurant oven and the taste merited an A-plus.
My friend ordered sweet potato fries instead of regular fries and we also split a delicious cheeseburger with lettuce and tomatoes. Yum. (No photos of that, however, as we gobbled it down.)

Oh Susan, minus forty degrees, that is freezing. Please stay warm. This artichoke dish fresh from the oven sounds perfect on a cold Winter day. The chips look homemade too. So glad you got to visit with a friend and have a bite to eat. I've never had sweet potato fries before, sounds really good. And lemon water is always good with our meals. : )

We went out for the firts time in a couple weeks with highschool classmates. ten of us reminiscing in a Mexican restaurant. That was a delight, even if we did talk about aches and pains. LOL
I went out with a college roommate to a place right on the ocean with a spectacular view and had a delicious salad with iced tea and lemon. It was so much fun and it was a beautiful 69 degree day.
That -40 stuff sounds horrid. I'm glad you're counterbalancing Mother Nature with those delicious looking dishes. The dip looks scrumptious. And I always love a nicely made burger as a treat.

Brrrr!! It's good to hear that you are able to keep warm and cozy! There is a cute little town a few miles from us where I like to take a walk around the old historic neighborhood followed by a trip to the local bakery for a delicious twice baked almond croissant. I take it home and settle in with a nice fresh cup of coffee or tea as I am reading my latest novel. Lovely!
