Chicken Little

When a person sees something that cracks him up and makes him stare inside the supermarket with a big smile on his face, those are signs the object-in-question needs to come home, right?

Well, when I saw the yellow chick with the long yellow legs, she did, indeed, make me smile.

She is totally adorable.

I just couldn't stop smiling at such sweetness.

She is a chick that has long white bunny ears and a pink bow on top of her head.

There is a mini-pom-pom necklace and she's carrying a blue butterfly.

She is cuteness personified.

Since I still don't know where my next living arrangement will be , buying her was an extravagance but I did it anyway.

Someday I'll retrieve my chicks, sheep, lambie pies, and other Easter paraphernalia , that's for sure.

In the meantime, we must make our own happiness despite what is swirling around us.

Harder to do than refraining from eating a piece of rich chocolate wrapped in colorful tin foil-of-sorts.

TELL US YOUR FAVORITE EASTER TREAT!

My Favorite EAster treat is usually what I give up for lent and that would be potato chips. I am not a candy person at all. I guess I like real easter eggs that are hard boiled and colored. Cute little chick you bought there.

She's darling, Susan. I think that pom pom necklace makes her. That's what I noticed right away. She has a sweet face too. And those bunny ears! She looks so cute next to the window.

My favorite Easter treat would probably be Palmer chocolates. But I love the Hershey's chocolate eggs and Reese's chocolate eggs. I guess I have more than one favorite haha. Oh, and those malt eggs are soooo good.

Hi Susan, your little Easter chick is so cute. She can't decide if she's a chick or a bunny! haha. My current favourite Easter treat - something dark chocolate.

She is super cute -- all dressed up for Spring/Easter. The malted robins eggs were always my favorite easter treat. Used to even get them here years ago but never see them anymore. Have a good weekend.

What a cut addition to you Easter collection. I try to stay away from candy but that is easier said than done. If I do, I like sweet sour the best so it would probably be a bag of Star Burst jelly beans! yum!
