Writing Straight from the Heart: Life Is Short. Eat Dessert First!

There's a decorative sign that reads something like the title of this post, that is, LIFE IS SHORT. EAT DESSERT FIRST!

That might be a good suggestion when it comes to an upscale restaurant such as Pappadeaux in Colorado.

My host and hostess took me there when vacationing in that state in May.

Oh my heavens, the desserts there make the word "decadent" jump off the menu.

The creamy, dense cheesecake, topped with strawberries, a sauce, and a squirt of cream, melted in the mouth.

Then there was a tangy key lime pie with a delicious sauce.

It tasted delightful and refreshing.

The chocolate caramel concoction looked luscious but, to be honest, that one I didn't sample.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESSERT IN THE WHOLE WORLD?

Red Rose Alley said...: The strawberry cheesecake looks Yummy, Susan. Here, we have the Cheesecake Factory, and there is a variety of different cheesecakes that are incredible. It sounds like you had a nice time in Colorado. I am enjoying your posts on the happenings of your travels.
