A sure-fire smile-making flower is a sunflower.
It's just such a happy flower that anyone looking at one feels happy, too.
Sunflowers grow so tall.
They are so precious.
Several years ago someone completely planted a huge field, near my niece's house, with sunflowers.
It only happened that one year but those who saw it will never forget it.
There were thousands upon thousands of sunflowers there.
The one shown in today's post was for sale at BJ's, a big box store.
They were selling a several of them.
Another one of my nieces has an entire wall of sunflower pictures and paintings. It's delightful!
Hurray for sunflowers!

I love sunflowers, and they are such a cheerful flower. The yellow petals remind me of a Summer flower. That's really neat that someone planted sunflowers in the huge field near your niece's house. Too bad they aren't there anymore. I'm glad you got one for yourself at the store, Susan. ; )

Did you know that the sunflower is the state flower of Kansas? They are inexpensive and last a long time. They make me smile too.
That is a beautiful flower. I have not had any success growing them or the bleeding heart plant. Any tips?
