One life lesson that has been clearly driven into my head and heart is to grab each moment of life and cherish it.
The happenings of life can change forever in the snap of the fingers.
Every new flower that blooms, every bright and sunny day, every sip of luscious coffee with half-and-half, every tune one hears, everything, can be cherished before it disappears.
The key is to stop, pray, wish well for the person suffering, and remain in the moment.
A key phrase that helps tremendously is to remember that "This, too, shall pass."
Nothing stays the same forever. The bad times do, eventually, pass.
Remember to look around and see the beauty which is a gift from the Creator.
Hope your day is everything you want it to be.
(All photos in this post are taken on the patio of a very dear friend who could use lots of prayers right now.
So, if you are so inclined, please remember Susan's friend in your own prayers. Thanks.)

You are a beautiful woman, Susan. And I truly loved this post. Saying a prayer for your friend. I smiled when you mentioned the coffee, because I was just making a hot cup of coffee right now this Sunday morning. Thank you for reminding me to look around and see all the beauty. This life brings so many uncertainties and worries, but if we pray and believe, our life is much sweeter. I love that little lamb at the end.
May God bless you on this Sunday, Susan.

So many little things help make life beautiful. What gifts we have been given... every single day. Being present in the moment makes all the different, recognizing how we feel in the bad times, rejoicing in our joy in the good times. Thank you, Susan, for a lovely post. Wishing your dear friend grace for her days ahead - the good Lord bless and keep her, and you, through it all. Brenda xo
Praying for you and your friend on this lovely Sunday morning. Our faith will prevail and better days are coming.
