There are times in life when we get to experience a truly wondrous sight.
Seeing a colorful sunset is one of these times.
The sky may turn into a gigantic canvas for the Master Painter.
The resulting view can take one's breath away.
Streaks of gold, lavender, and pink melt and mix into an awesome sight.
The sun on such evenings looks like a huge, deep golden disc.
It is with bated breath that I see such a sunset from a sister's room.
Gorgeous lacy curtains provide a frame for the splendorous spectacle.
Little doodads attached to the window glass have a spectacular backdrop.
My favorite window decoration is a darling little angel.
She is a very appropriate decoration when viewing such a special sunset.

Pretty pictures. Unfortunately, I have to now drive to see a sunset because over the many years that we've lived in the same building, people around us have torn down and built bigger and higher so our view is blocked by concrete. Have a good week.
I can see sunsets from my front yard but the ones at the beach are the most spectacular. God's gift to us.
I see the sunsets everynight. How blessed I am to live in this beautiful place!
Oh Susan, I see the sunrises more often than the sunsets. And I think a pretty sunset would be such a wonderful sight. I'm glad you got to experience this beautiful moment at your sisters, it truly is a blessing. That first picture is so lovely.
