On Parade!

Hello dear blog peeps.

Today we are going to share the last photos of the July 4th parade in Western Massachusetts.

Balloons and floats, bands and marching units, and all kinds of colorful uniforms brightened the main streets of the town where the parade was held.

There are few things more able to get the ol' ticker beating fast and furious than marching bands or fife and drum corps units.

Memories of the gala parade will remain forever with those who sat in lawn chairs and under awnings all along the parade route.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF PARADES?

My favorite part of parades are the marching bands. I love hearing patriotic music .

That is a great parade! When our children were small we never missed the Saint Patrick's Day parade. We use to go to the Veteran's Day parade too but people have become so awful with their special interest groups. My son & his brood went to the Denver Nuggets Championship parade with over 1 million people. I watched it on TV. They had lots of fun and were up close to the players who are very hands on with their fans! Always so nice to say hello to you. Have a blessed weekend.

A parade is not a parade without music. I love, love, love marching bands. My dad was a career marine and we cleaned house every Saturday morning to the sounds of John Phillip Sousa!
