It's comforting for those who believe strongly in God to acknowledge that He is a refuge and a source of strength.

If He is for a person, who can be against? That, too, brings peace to one's heart.

Who wouldn't like a refuge when in pain or difficulty?

Also, when one is weak and struggling, wouldn't it be nice to get a big wind of strength? 

God can give that wind, if we just put into practice what we preach, right?
