Crow's Penchant for Glitter

They say that crows love anything that glitters.

Once, in a humorous way, someone asked me if I was part crow.

Yes, I am guilty that glittery things definitely attract my attention. 

When a gift of lotus flower-shaped candle holders was given to me, I felt elated.  

The cut glass candle holders are beyond gorgeous. 

They sparkle like crazy and never fail to get compliments when guests see them.

When I saw a small bowl with a fitted lid, also lotus-shaped, it had to join the candle holders. 

All of the pieces now sit on the front of my late Grandmother's hutch.

Even though I'm no crow, seeing the pieces sparkle in the afternoon sun is always thrilling.
