This is the best time of year to buy fresh nectarines and peaches.
These are two very favorite fruits.
They taste best when soft and very juicy.
Looking around a new apartment, it's now pleasant to recognize familiar decorations that have been packed away for almost a year.
Despite the fact that moving is a horrendous amount of work and money, it's nice to be in a new place.
Mmmmm. They taste like summer.
Unpacking the endless sea of boxes, bags, and plastic containers has its good points.
Seeing favorite decorations once again. and finding places for them, is truly satisfying.
Now, let's bite into one of those juicy nectarines.

I love peaches and nectarines too, but I tend to buy the nectarines more because sometimes the peaches are mushy. But if you get a ripe good peach, there's nothing like it. Oh, I've always loved that green pitcher. It is really unique and beautiful, Susan. Glad you're having a good time unpacking all your stuff. That's always the fun part for me. ; )

I love raspberries and blueberries and blackberries and strawberries. Those are my favorite summer fruits but all year round I love apples the best. I've made delicious sour cream peach pie in the past which is a favorite with fresh peaches.
