Friends are tremendous gifts in our lives.
Long-time friends as well as new ones contribute greatly to our sense of well being, confidence, kindness, and generosity.
All of the above benefit from friendship.
While in a parking lot in the downtown of the new place where I live, a horn beeped.
At first, I jumped and then heard the familiar voice of a friend.
We both got out of our cars, hugged, and this gift of a friend then told me she had a present for me in her car!
An artist, she had drawn a flower in chalk on the outside of a brown bag.
The gifts touched my heart and so did my friend.

Lovely gifts from your friend. I like a friend who is there when you need them. Someone you can call anytime, anywhere and with anything to say.
What a thoughtful gift from your friend. And all the things you like too. I bet the honk startled you, but what a pleasant surprise. The earrings are my birthstone. Such a pretty color. Yes, friends are a blessing to us, and I'm thankful for your friendship so much, Susan.
