September is the birthday month of the Blessed Mother, Mary.
It is said the day on which she was born was the 8th.
The Mother of Jesus, she certainly had her share of suffering in this life.
Imagine seeing your "child" crucified, even though he was a totally innocent person.
He had committed no crime.
Mary's heart must have been so crushed.
Anyone who has ever lost a child could identify closely with the Blessed Mother and gain solace through her.
She saw her Son live again,
Roman Catholics believe she resides with Him in eternal paradise.
