Sometimes thoughts and dreams become reality.
A very dear friend, who has gone to the other side of life, once gave me a very exquisite round crystal vase with little crystal feet.
It's one household item I really love.
Once the pink poinsettias from Christmas were removed from the vase, it looked quite lonely and empty on top of a bookcase.
It's situated right beneath a tea cup rack filled with darling cups.
"Filling that vase with pink roses would look so beautiful," I thought.
Luckily, a great trip to a Trader Joe's an hour away solved the problem.
That store has terrific prices for flowers.
One can pick up lovely bouquets very inexpensively.
Soooooo, I bought myself some pink roses for the vase.
They are truly a gift for the soul.
The crystal vase has a purpose again and I know my dear late friend, Patti, would smile if she could see it filled with such delicate pink roses.
Ahhhh, life is sweeter when we indulge in gifts for the soul!

Lovely.I know you love pink and these roses are so pretty in that vase. Enjoy them.
Those are the prettiest roses, Susan. Yes, it's nice to treat ourselves once in awhile. Nel bought me a bouquet of New Years' red roses. They sure were pretty. The vase your friend gave you is very nice and a reminder of your friendship.
