A Quintessential New England Inn

The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, truly is quintessential New England.

The ambiance, the charming style of the upstairs guest rooms, the elegance of the dining room where some guests toast with glasses of wine and dine on delicious food from the talented chefs, and a feeling of welcome and comfort in every season are all part of the inn.

Since the 1700s, it has been welcoming guests and diners.

Meeting precious long-time treasured friends from out-of-town at the inn is one of life's memory-making gifts.

The huge arrangement of daisies in the front lounge, a spectacular collection of teapots, elegant chandeliers and mirrors, framed paintings of people from long ago, china plates on the walls, and so many other aspects make the Red Lion Inn a place that becomes unforgettable.

Read more about it on the inn's website by going to https://www.redlioninn.com/

If interested, check back to this blog soon to read about a huge candy house, modeled after the Red Lion Inn. How sweet it is!

I've been to the Red Lion Inn but not at the Christmas season. It's just beautiful isn't it?

I've heard of the Red Lion Inn before. What a charming place to visit. I love that BIG pot of daisies. The candy house sounds delightful. Will come back to read about it. Have a blessed week in the new year, Susan.
